I just received this book yesterday, I am halfway through it, which is unusual for me to read pass the first chapter of any book. It is an easy read; youth will be able to relate to it. This book to me is like having a mentor that gives guidance not just for young athletes but youth in general. He speaks about being a mentor without knowing, discusses making the right decisions, how you have to prioritize your life now to reach your goals and how to deal with adversity or just bad luck. I truly recommend with book not only youth but to adults as well.Product details

I found this book both heart warming and heart rendering. His faith is his strength. His eye is set on the goal set before him and I believe that God will prosper him at just the right time. God often says "be still and know that I am God" this only means God has something better ahead. I'm watching with expectation for Wes to fully realize his dreams. Like all his past supporters I'm now one of his present and future supporters. Great book and very proud of all of your accomplishments.
This book shows the ups and downs of college and professional athletes. Many young people need to see that your goals begin at a young age.
Great book! Easy to read,. Especially written for young athletes whose journey may take them in the opposite direction of there dreams but can help them know that true success comes from GOD
I enjoyed this book very much. I was under the impression this was going to be more about how college football players transition into the NFL. Instead I read an Incredible Mans life story from a little boy playing football to a young mans journey into the NFL. It was a very touching book!
I can't wait for him to write his next one.

Wes captures his life, his ups and downs, and makes you feel like giving up is just not an option. I truly could not put this book down! This tell-all story based on the journey of an athlete is as intriguing as it is captivating and relatable. You really feel as though you are getting exclusive insight into the world of a remarkable man and athlete beginning with adolescence all the way up to the professional level. The Pursuit with Patience is just a genuine, inspirational and impeccably written story. Believe me when I say there is something to take away from this book for everybody!
